The Windrush Project

This year the Windrush generation have reached a milestone and celebrations are taking place nationally, marking the 70th Anniversary of Empire Windrush arriving at Tilbury Docks. In Nottingham they will be acknowledging the unsung heroes and heroines of our community who have made great contributions to society. They will also be giving thanks to God and praying for the Windrush generation. On behalf of the Windrush Project, Bishop James Stapleton OBE would like to extend an invitation to join celebrations on Saturday 23rd June at Mansfield Road Baptist Church, Gregory Boulevard, Nottingham NG7 6JN from 3-5pm.
