The Holy Father canonised our late Holy Father, Pope Paul VI, and Blessed Archbishop Oscar Romero alongside five others: Blessed Nunzio Sulprizio, who died at 19 years of age; Blessed Francesco Spinelli, an Italian diocesan priest and Founder of the Institute of the Sister Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament; Blessed Vincenzo Romano, an Italian diocesan priest; Blessed Maria Caterina Kasper, German foundress of the Institute of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ and Blessed Nazaria Ignazia March Mesa (in religion: Nazaria Ignazia di Santa Teresa di Gesu), Spanish foundress of the Congregation of the Misioneras Cruzadas de la Inglesia Sisters.
