This year The Briars is 50 years old and they are currently undertaking to raise £50,000 to refurbish the Centre and develop the site to enable more young people, and those who work with them, to encounter Christ and become inspired to become Missionary Disciples. There will be a celebration weekend on the 29th/30th June. On the Saturday there will be a 5-a-side tournament, food, live music and much more and then on the Sunday, Bishop Patrick will celebrate a Thanksgiving Mass at 11am.
