11th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B 2021 message from Fr john

Dear Friends,

I hope and pray you have had a blessed week and your continuing to live of the graces and blessings bestowed on us by the Celebration of the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The Scriptures, this weekend draws our attention to the smallest seed that has the biggest potential for growth, if treated in the right way! It’s wonderful for those of us who are gardeners, when we grow things from tiny seeds. When we see the beauty that bursts forth from such tiny seeds, we get all excited and are pleased with the work of our Labours and God’s creative hand at work.

Do we give the same excitement and joy to our own lives? After all we are made in the image and likeness of God!

Let us take time out this weekend to look at the seed of our own life! How have I natured, watered, tended and loved the seed that is ME! What have I produced and what more can I produce that will enhance, my life, family, friends and the world and what within ME enriches all around ME!

Am I giving glory to God by becoming the seed he wants me to BE!

Have a blessed weekend and may you fill it with your beauty!

Fr John
